The Chairman, Darren, began the evening by bringing us up to date on events behind the scenes that were of interest to members. He reassured us that the kitchen and dining room will be well managed over the busy Christmas period.
He announced that the Christmas eve function had been changed and their would now be a two course meal prior to the entertainment. Cost, menu and price, will be placed on the notice board in due course and the usual procedure of booking and paying behind the bar will be needed.
Got a question you would like answered by the Chairman? Come along on Thursday (14th) to the Chairman’s Open Forum, 7.30pm. Also it is a good time for new members who have not met the Chairman to introduce themselves. The secretary and most of the committee attend and will listen to your views and questions.
November is with us and the club is looking ahead and organising Christmas.
