As you will no doubt all be aware the current and second lock-down is to finish on December 2nd when the whole of Nottinghamshire will move into Tier 3.
For the Club this means that we will have to remain closed until at least December 17th.
The Committee met with Miles, our Steward yesterday and we revised our December and New Year schedule once again on the premise that we will be able to re-open on December 17th or thereabouts and if we move down to Tier 2 as a result of the planned review.
If we remain in Tier 3, we regret we will not be able to re-open but …….
We are confident that, if we are given the go-ahead, we can operate in a covid secure environment and offer you Christmas and New Year food and entertainment. We will do this by adhering to all the guidelines.
Please do not enter the Club if you are experiencing any of the symptoms of Covid-19
Whilst in Tier 2:
Please sign in using either the paper form or the NHS app
You should wear a face mask when moving around the Club – it may be removed when you are seated at a table.
We can only open if we offer “a substantial meal” so all events include a meal so that we can serve you with drinks as well.
You should keep 2 metres apart, wherever possible, from Members who are not from your household. We will ensure that this is possible by managing the numbers at events, prior booking is therefore essential.
You must not sit and socialise with anyone you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble. When booking you will be asked if you live in the same household.
We will offer table service only
No orders will be taken after 10.00pm and the Club will close at 11.00 pm when everyone should be off the premises.
These measures are legal requirements put in place by the Government to drive the infection rate down and keep us all safe. Please do not embarrass our staff or a Committee member by disregarding any of them.

| Thurs 3rd | The Club will be closed during this period because Nottinghamshire has been placed in Tier 3 by the Government. There is a Government review of this status scheduled for December 16th and we very much hope that we will be placed in Tier 2. Only then will the Club be able to re-open and operate under Tier 2 rules. The following events will take place ONLY if we are in Tier 2. We will keep you informed as and when the rules change. Regrettably some of the previously scheduled events have had to be postponed, altered or cancelled to comply with Tier 2 rules notably all events will now include a substantial meal. No dancing is allowed under Tier 3 so we are booking suitable entertainers accordingly. We hope you will understand and thank you for your patience. |

If you wish to book you may do so by replying to this email with the details or phone Miles on 07738 628668. No payment will be required at this time. Payment will be requested prior to the event, when the Club re-opens and when we are certain we can go ahead with this schedule.
If you have already made a reservation and paid for Christmas Day Lunch please do not be concerned. In the event of a change in the Government rules that means that we are not permitted to hold the event a full refund will be made. This is the only reason refunds will be given.

Meat Draw Tickets
Please hang on to any meat draw tickets you had purchased prior to the lockdown. They will be drawn as soon as possible when we are open.

This will remain closed until further notice.
AGM
This essential event has now been postponed until 2021. Those Members who previously indicated their wish to attend will be notified of the date when decided.
Reminder
Members annual subscription becomes due in January 2021 and I am told that some Members like to pay it in December which you can do when we re-open. You may remember that the Committee has decided not to increase it in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The fee remains at £37.00 for 2021.
