Our Club
Opening Times
Established over 100 years ago, Newark Conservative Club provides a convenient place to meet and entertain family and friends near the centre of Newark.
The Club is a short walk from the town centre, and has its own off-street car parking.
Members and guests can enjoy our fully licensed bars, snooker, in-house and local league competitions and regular Club Nights.
The club is open seven evenings a week, with extended times on Friday and Saturday evenings, and closed only on Monday / Tuesday lunchtimes.

Door Access System
Access is gained to the club by means of electronic fobs issued to all members.
Entertainment
Come along for a home made carvery lunch every Thursday and Sunday
There is regular entertainment organised on a weekly basis.

In addition to the weekly entertainment, special functions are arranged throughout the year. These include parties at Christmas and New Year.
There is entertainment at least one Saturday evening every month in the Alexander Lounge. This will usually include a meal (optional), and often a singer or duo singing songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s. A dance floor is placed in centre of room. Occasional bbq held on the front lawn in summer

Committee
Management of the club is by Committee, who meet regularly at least once a month.
All correspondence should be put through the Secretary, and we ask members not to contact Committee members at home.

General Club Management is performed by the Steward
In addition to the main committee, there are a number of sub-committees that oversee the day to day running of the following:

Membership
Membership is confirmed following an interview and then by approval of the Committee.
Candidates must be aged 18 or over.
Fees & Subscriptions
The Membership Year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Subscriptions become due on 1 January annually.
There is a one-off Registration Fee for all new membership applications.
Current Fees and Subscriptions to the Club are as follows:
Full Member Membership @ £34.00 per year (2018. Subject to committee Approval)
Registration Fee (one-off) @ £50.00 (up to End of June)
(July 1st onwards) £35.00
Guests
Members guests are welcome, up to 3 times per calendar month. Each guest must be signed in, and pay a fee of £1.
